We are greeting you at the site of the company “Khorda” that is acting as the organization with the limited liability. Today, “Khorda” is implementing computation, planning, manufacturing, assembling and fettling of power equipments. The main areas of our functioning related to the computation, planning, and manufacturing of hydroturbines, partially hydrotreaters, also means of measuring control and automatics for midget power plant.

We have devoted ourselves to our work and sincerely believe that we are helping to adapt and utilize the restoring sources of energy. The staff of “Khorda” is a team composed of enthusiastic people who have begun their activity since year 1990 - at the very period of energetic deficiency in Armenia.

Our core functions are:

1. Serial release of transportable micro hydropower stations powered from 80 watts to 10 kilowatts.
2. Manufacturing of equipment for midget power plant powered to 10 megawatts.
3. Production of wind power station powered with1 kilowatts and 4 kilowatts.
4. Gas piston generators for generating electric and thermal energy.
5. Installation of biogas
6. Assembling and fettling of hydroturbine electrical equipments in the power range from 100 kilowatts to 10 megawatts. These are intended for continuous work in stationary conditions and distinguish themselves by high coefficient of efficiency, long service life period and high reliability.

• Durability – is one of the main evaluation criteria for quality assurance of the equipments and for our responsibility for constant development of the output; as well as for the increase in resources of all components of hydroturbines and hydrotreaters. We are, also, organizing training courses and are disseminating the instructions related to reliable, efficient and safe exploitation of equepements.
• Economy - The endurance of hydroturbines is guaranteed for 200 000 hours, that is about 30 years, the period of work from one complete overhaul to the next one is about 54 000 hours or about 7,5 years. After the consummation of the aggregate we guarantee 2-year follow-up control.
• Safety - The systems of control and measurement, which have become advanced due to reliable facilities as well as well-constructed relay protection, blockage and automation, allow us to keep the maximum security in operations and the highest reliability in exploitation of midget power plants.

As usual, we are purchasing synchronous generators not only from Armenian producers, but also from producers of other CIS’s countries. Most of the time, we are forced to reconstruct generators, especially for the improvement of cooling system, since midget power plants are built in highlands. The other reasons are need for replacement of shafts and bearings, amplification of electrical insulation, installation of thermal control.

The aggregates made by “Khorda” are of high-quality and reliablity; they satisfy the distinctive demand of customers. In general, we are supervising the whole process of construction to successfully reach the final results as was designed in advance.

Since our performance we have built hydrotreaters for more than 27 midget power plants in Armenia and abroad.
